Beach Box

There's a peace that comes from being at the beach, a serenity that just washes over and peace follows swiftly behind it. Growing up going to the beaches of San Clemente, California I've always had a unique connection to the beach. Here is where I find peace, understanding, and calmness that helps center me when I'm feeling pulled in too many directions. There is an ancient word called Mushin, which translates to 'mind like water'. It's a free flow state where the mind has no attachments and can focus completely. I curate this box to represent the calmness I get from the kiss of the ocean and the fresh salty air. Navy blue and mint are the predominant colors in this box, accents of gold and a neutral sandy color are mixed in to create a cohesive design.
